LunaSuite is the enhancement for the Newton you always dreamed about. Now you can connect your Newton from anywhere and exchange email, notes and Newton items. You can browse items and transfer any Newton object from and to Newton using standard Internet mail protocols. LunaSuite also has modules to use other popular Internet protocols, so you can browse the Web and FTP sites. LunaSuite supports several mail protocols via several communication possibilities. It supports internal and external modems, analog, digital and several wireless. It will send and receive normal text but is also capable of dealing with most of the common binary exchange methods, notably binhex, base64 en uucode. LunaSuite also sets the MIME standard for the exchange of Newton specific data such as your signature, complete with all your penstrokes. This enables you to communicate with other Newton users transparently via every network that has MIME capabilities, such as the Internet. If you have the Newton Internet Enabler (NIE) from Apple, LunaSuite will make very good use of it. It will work seamlessly with it, allowing you to exchange mail with any TCP/IP network directly. The webbrowser allows you to access the wealth of information and network applications on corporate intranets and the Internet. You can easily access information from a variety of sources, from the latest Web sites to intranet databases. The general move to make information accessible in HTML will enable you to browse that information on your Newton using LunaSuite. This opens possible uses which no other software enables you to experience. It will enhance the effectiveness of your Newton use immensely.
